The first was a cloth factory, founded in 1853 by Julius Jahn. It exported goods to the Orient, Palestine, Denmark, England and America. The second, built in 1884, belonged to the Baumgarten brothers. It produced hats for hunters and forestry uniformed services. They testify to the former industrial development in German Neudamm. After the war, it continued to be used in industry.
