Information

The fortified settlement is an archaeological site, being a relic of a defensive settlement with timber-earth ramparts. The early medieval fortress of Cedynia, measuring approximately 100 x 120 m, is located in the northern part of the town on a moraine hill overlooking the town and the Oder valley. Its outline is clearly legible in the terrain.
