Old Town

A short, 1.88 km, but attractive trail around the town’s defensive walls, dating from the Middle Ages. The walls are preserved almost around the entire perimeter. The only thing missing from its original state is the Strzeszów Gate, now symbolised by two pillars, from between which the road towards Strzeszów emerges. A Geopark exhibition was created along the northern and eastern parts of the walls. It consists of erratic boulders bearing information on the type of rock (e.g. granite) and place of origin (e.g. from the bottom of the Baltic Sea). The former spa house is also worth noting. Trzcińsko used to be a health resort; today the spa house, surrounded by a park, is used as a Nursing Home.
