Chapel of St. Hubert

An easy and short, but very attractive trail, among the forests immediately surrounding Dębno, its northernmost part reaches the Saint Hubert’s chapel, erected by the “Jeleń” Hunting Club. It starts at the Kosa River and ends at the river. The length of the route is 3 kilometres. A stretch of about 700 metres in its south-western part leads through a canal causeway, which is an intriguing example of hydraulic engineering. The causeway runs its entire length high, about 1.8 metres above the adjacent meadows and fields. In the causeway, the Kosa River flows through the canal, about 1.5 metres above the neighbouring meadows, but only for a full 700 metres before Kosa flows under Grunwaldzka Street and into Lake Lipowo.
